Thee Oh Sees Announce 2017 Tour Dates

American garage rockers Thee Oh Sees announced their 2017 tour, which officially begins tomorrow at the Norman Music Festival in Norman, OK. From there the band heads overseas for a month and half before returning home for a couple of California festival dates. According to the itinerary, the band is off for the month of July, but will head back overseas in August for more dates before wrapping things up with a string of North American dates in September. A complete list of current tour dates can be found below.
In 2016, Thee Oh Sees released two albums, A Weird Exits and An Odd Entrances via Castle Face Records. Both albums were recorded during the same sessions and released three months apart. Regarding the recording process drummer Ryan Moutinho commented, “We recorded all of that in three days. Actually…I’m going to say four, but I really think it was three. I was really sick. I had a one-hundred-and-twenty degree fever and was vomiting. I recorded the whole record in a hoody, with the hood up. We went in there, did that, and then me, Tim [Hellman] and Dan [Rincon] all went home, and John [Dwyer] stayed and finished it.”
The recordings are the band’s last to feature drummer Ryan Moutinho, who departed from the band two days prior to the album’s release.
