Belle and Sebastian Release New Single ‘We Were Beautiful’ + 2017 Tour Dates

Belle and Sebastian has just released a surprise new single called “We Were Beautiful”, located above. It’s the first new music from the Scottish band since 2015’s Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance. Written in the summer of 2016, the song was recorded in Glasgow with producer Brian McNeill.

The release comes just as they embark on an extensive summer tour throughout North America. Along with the headlining dates, the group is also scheduled to play several festival shows in New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, before heading over to Holland and Japan for a string of dates in September and October.
