Sheryl Crow: After recently battling a chest infection that affected my voice, I was very disappointed to have to cut my show a little short last night at the Theatre at Ace Hotel. After careful consideration, I feel it’s best to postpone tonight’s show and spend a few days resting, so I can fully recover. I sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Tonight’s show at the Theatre at Ace Hotel will be rescheduled for December 4th – tickets will be honored at points of purchase. Love to everyone!
Due to illness, tonight’s event with SHERYL CROW at THE THEATRE AT ACE HOTEL will be rescheduled to Wednesday, December 4, 2019. All the tickets for the originally scheduled show will be honored on this new date.

If you listen to the whole clip, I explain that I live with my head in a big hole, and don’t know the details…

On the 5th anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, Sheryl Crow has written a song called “The Dreaming Kind” for the incredible people at Sandy Hook, who work to combat gun violence. Watch the video below.
The brand new song is available as a name-your-price download from Crow’s official Bandcamp page at this location.
About the song, Crow said: “The tragedy in Newtown 5 years ago and the countless lives lost in mass shootings since have weighed heavily on my heart. I felt compelled to write “The Dreaming Kind” for the incredible people at Sandy Hook Promise who work so hard every day to combat gun violence. The extraordinary work this organization does to educate and protect our nation from further bloodshed gives me hope for a better tomorrow. I hope this song will inspire the same feeling in those who hear it.”
Sandy Hook Promise is a national nonprofit organization founded and led by several families whose loved ones were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.
Every $1 you donate helps Sandy Hook Promise train one student or adult how to Know The Signs of individuals at-risk of hurting themselves or others and take action to get help. By training two-generations of Americans, we are creating a culture engaged in preventing gun violence, resulting in saving more lives and keeping our schools and communities safe, nationwide.
Lyrics:
I turned off the news again tonite
It’s getting hard to watch everyone fight
Every time I turn my face
I see the world from outer space
How small we are but look how much we have to waste
Giving it all I got
There’ll be no more wasting precious time
Giving it all I got
Nothing’s ever going to change my mind
That we’re beautiful inside
You could say I’m the dreaming kind
Could you imagine it, if love was blind
If on this earth everybody was kind
Oh what a different world it’d be
If peace was our reality
But how far will we have to fall
before we meet destiny
Giving it all I got
There’ll be no more wasting precious time
Giving it all I got
Nothing’s ever going to change my mind
That we’re beautiful inside
You could say I’m the dreaming kind
Every child is pure until he learns to hate
They watch with innocence and imitate
They say love can conquer all, well, there is no time to wait
Giving it all I got
Even if I can’t change a thing
Giving it all I got
Gonna fight to keep remembering
We are beautiful inside
You could say I’m the dreaming kind
Today we're remembering the 20 first graders and 6 adults who were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School, five years ago this morning. https://t.co/AUZApEXYdG
