Chris Holmes Cancels UK Tour Dates – Begins Recording New Album in December
Former W.A.S.P. guitarist Chris Holmes has cancelled his remaining UK tour dates slated for November. According to a statement, Holmes needs to rest his left hand before he begins recording a new solo album in December. The full statement has been posted below.
On May 2, 2015, Holmes released his second solo album, Shitting Bricks. Since then, the guitarist has toured throughout Europe and the UK playing songs from his solo releases as well as W.A.S.P. classics.
“The management is really sorry to announce the cancellation of all UK shows in November 2017. All our apologies to the venues and fans, but Chris’ left hand needs more rest, so he is ready to record the new album in December. We will see all of you in 2018 with a new album and a new show.”
