Bryan Adams Talks 1980 Debut Album – Released On This Day

Bryan Adams: Forty years ago today in 1980 I released my first album, it was basically a collection of demos that were polished in the studio…and some of the songs were actually ok. I was lucky to have landed on my feet with a co-writer (Jim Vallance) to help craft the songs and then a record company (A&M) who literally gave me the opportunity to experiment in the studio, and make records. I didn’t find my sound on this album, I needed to go out on tour, play it and write some new ones, but you know what happens after that 🤓. I hope you like some of the unpublished photos here. There is even a photo of a piece of art that was proposed as the cover.
